Primary Runoff Ballot And Candidate Forum

May-2022-Runoff Ballot

PRIMARY RUN-OFF ELECTION DAY, TUESDAY, MAY 24TH

EARLY VOTING MAY 16-20

WE NEED YOUR INPUT FOR OUR MAY 15TH CANDIDATE FORUM

Why have a Candidate Forum the day before Early Voting begins on May 16th? Some of our members may not have voted for either candidate now in the Runoff Election. They need an opportunity to get to know each candidate before voting in this important election. Remember, the successful candidate will face the Democratic candidate in the November election. We want the very best candidate!! Exercise your right to VOTE!

We have commitments from seven of the ten candidates on the ballot! Get to know them personally. Then vote for your favorites.

Below is the Candidate Format the W.A.R. Board agreed to at our called meeting March 20, 2022.

1. Candidates will have three (3) minutes to introduce themselves and present their platforms.

2. Candidates will speak in ballot order. Copies of ballots will be available for attendees.

3. Candidates will then be asked a series of questions prepared by our WAR appointed committee of 3-5 members. Each candidate will have two (2) minutes to reply to the same questions.

4. After the questions for each race have been completed, each candidate will then have the opportunity to present a two-minute (2) closing remark.
