Hays Co. Constable Don Montague
Joining us as guest speaker for the October 3rd meeting will be our Hays County Constable, Don Montague. No stranger to the law, Don began his career in Law Enforcement in 1967 with the Texas Highway Patrol. Throughout his 18-year tenure with the Hays County Sheriff’s Office, Don has shared his wealth of experience and knowledge to form, lead, and command various task forces. In 1996, Don was elected Sheriff in Hays County and served in that capacity until 2005. In 2005, he retired from the Sheriff’s Office and pursued a new role, as Director of the Advanced Law Enforcement Rapid Response Training.

Our guest speaker for the November 7th meeting, Julie D. White, P.E., CFSP hopes to keep you from being hacked. Cybersecurity events are increasing in frequency and severity. We need to understand their potential impact on each of us. By doing so, we can identify our safeguards to counter or avoid their potential impact on our pocketbooks, personal information, and security. Julie is a fifth-generation native Houstonian, the daughter of Wimberley Area Republican members Loyal and Anna White.
